Great app

Great experience for Reddit.

Solid Reddit Client

Long time Alien Blue user, switched to Narwhal and couldnt be happier. Amazing support from devs <3

This is a great client for Reddit. Ive used a bunch and this one is smooth, intuitive, and has an eye-pleasing UI. The ad-free version is, as always, preferred to try one with ads popping up. However, they give you the option of a 30 day as-free for doing some free promotion through your Twitter, which I was more than happy to do.

Amazing!

Finally the app to get me away from Alien Blue - and now the official Reddit app, which needs a LOT of work. Narwhal is slick and quick, and the iPad functionality makes it even more of a no-brainer to switch.

Amazing

Best Reddit app available now by far. Thanks, Narwhal team! :)

Best UI Ive seen in a Reddit client.

After years of using Alien Blue, the apps seeming neglect following the Reddit acquisition has led me to explore greener pastures—and Ive been most impressed by Narwhal. I really like Narwhals UI and find it a lot more pleasant to use than other Reddit clients, including Alien Blue. The gesture navigation allows you to get around with fewer taps than other clients, and the swipe gestures in particular are really convenient and fluid. The way it handles link previews is really handy. I also like the font options, as Im a big fan of the San Francisco font and appreciate the choice to use it throughout the app. My main criticism is that the app doesnt yet offer the ability to view Imgur galleries directly rather than loading the mobile site, as in Alien Blue. However, I know from the developers Trello that they are planning on implementing this. Gotta love responsive developers; I appreciate the openness! Id also like the option to display image thumbnails on the left.

Please allow pictures to scale!!!

When browsing any post, the pictures are too big. I almost never get to see gifs and pictures are too big to see without scrolling. Please fix! This would be the perfect app!

Awesome

Ive tried all Reddit apps I know of and this is the best one. Good design, fast and virtually 0 bugs. Nice.

Perfect, but...

The only thing missing that I would love to see is the media preview functionality (something alien blue does have), where tapping and holding on a thumbnail (image, gif, or YouTube video) can open it to preview it without going into the post itself. Very nice for quick browsing and checking things out without going into the wasteland of comments ; p

Hands down the best iOS Reddit client

Beautiful UI, gestures that are very fast and plain fun to use. This is immensely better than alien blue and the official Reddit app (which decided to neglect iPad users - lol?)

Pretty and functional. Could use one feature

I love this app, though Id like to see a number on the inbox icon to see how many messages are in there.

Best Developers

Best reddit app Best developers Ive ever contacted Must use!

Incredible Reddit App

Simply the best and easiest app to use

Ignore the ugly name this is a great app

Despite the awful branding (who knows what a Narwhal is?!) Im glad I found this app. As a regular Reddit user (reading mostly) I find this to be the best supported iOS client out there with constant updates and thoughtful tweaks. The stability is also quite exceptional and the speed is zippy. Well worth the paltry cost (I think its freemium).

You should try it.

❤️

Great client

This is a great Reddit client. Very feature rich and easy to navigate. Migrating from the now defunct Alien Blue.

Intuitive

Very user friendly app with everything where you need it and easily accessible. Also has a nice layout.

Recommended

A very pleasant Reddit app. Fast, feature-packed, and a simple interface.

Best reddit app ever

One thing Id like to see is notification support! Otherwise its the best client out there.

NARWHAL!

Hands down the best Reddit client app out there. Ive tried a few others and none of them compare to how easy and smooth Narwhal is. I recommend upgrading so you dont have to worry about ads. Its worth the money! Keep up the great work, Narwhal.
